Cindy Anderson, MSW, LCSW, ICGC-I

Cindy believes everyone should have access to mental wellness services, and everyone can achieve a better quality of life.  Cindy began her career specializing in children, adolescents and families, and advanced to geriatrics in the past 20 years.  Her 37 years of experience in the social work field has spanned from counseling, medical social work and administration.  She was named 2009 NASW New Mexico Social Worker of the Year for her work with the geriatric mentally ill population, and received the 2013 Zimmerman Community Service award from Rio Rancho Rotary Foundation.

Tom Lawry Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Tom has been a licensed clinical psychologist in Alabama for over 30 years, first with the VA and in private practice since 1992 in Auburn, Alabama. Specialties include PTSD, substance dependence, couples therapy, veterans and working with Auburn University student athletes. Has treated a wide variety of ages (15-80+), ethnic groups, LBGTQ and presenting problems. Tom relocated to New Mexico in 2019

John Love, LCSW

John has been a licensed clinical social worker since 1997. He has worked extensively with Veterans in the areas of substance abuse, military trauma and mood disorders. For the past 12 years he has worked with the homeless Veteran population in residential treatment. John also has a background in pain management

Janis McGlone, MSW, LMSW, LCSW

Janis brings over 15 years experience working with older populations.  Janis facilitates the PeopleWorks-NM Family Caregiver Support Group and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).  Janis’ passion for seniors was Inspired by the care of her own mother before she died.  Janis and her brothers cared for their mother and kept her engaged and happy in her home.  Janis brings this philosophy to each senior, family and caregiver she works with.  Employed as a Peace Corps Blind Mobility Instructor in Morocco, Africa, Janis is committed to peace and justice both personally and professionally.

Naomi Roibal, LCSW

Naomi has over 9 years of experience working with families here in New Mexico. Naomi has worked with caregivers of all ages and their children to improve relationships within the family system. Naomi has had training in Child Parent Psychotherapy, helping the whole family system find ways to talk about and heal from trauma. Naomi is also a trained facilitator in Circle of Security which is a curriculum-based intervention which helps parents understand their child’s cues that might be harder to understand. In the past two years, Naomi has also worked with older children and young adults in finding their voice, confidence and self-efficacy. Naomi is committed to supporting and helping her community.”

Carol Hinote, LCSW, ATR

As a therapist for 35 years, Carol has worked extensively with children, adults, families and couples in New York, Arizona and New Mexico.  Her experience includes Clinical Services Director at Crossroads for Women, and as a Social Worker at the VA, UNMH Addiction and Substance Abuse Programs, and Wallin and Luna Counseling Associates. Carol obtained a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and a MSW from The Hunter College of Social Work in New York City. Carol also completed the Art Therapy program at the University of Arizona in Tucson. 

Carol incorporates a vast array of verbal and non-verbal techniques and tools in art therapy, play therapy and psychotherapy.  She endorses the “recovery model,” believing that we all have the capacity to improve our lives.
